In Florida, and especially on the coast, there are many restrictions and regulations in place to protect the homeowner from fraudulent services and weather specific building. Since hurricanes are more probable to hit the coastal areas, each product installed must meet certain qualifications to be a "coastal product" And more importantly, the installation of these products must also meet these high standards. Clear Choice Windows and More takes it a step further then our competition, and only uses only the very best installation products such as screws, caulk, and insulation to complete the installation of your new windows and doors.
We'll confidently install your windows, and upon inspection by your local building department, you'll find you made the right choice. We stand behind our installation 100%. We often find local building officials buying from us because they know who is the best. They know "The Choice is Clear"!
Clear Choice Windows and More has been certified under the Renovation, Repair, and Painting(RRP) Rule by the Environmental Protection Agency.
On April 22, 2008, the EPA issued a rule requiring the use of lead-safe practices and other actions aimed at preventing lead poisoning. Under the rule, beginning April 22, 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.
Therefore, replacing windows in your home MUST by federal law, undergo testing for Lead Paint if your home was built before 1978. All of Clear Choice Windows and More project consultants are EPA certified technicians who will painlessly test your home for lead paint, and determine if your home requires special care when replacing your windows and/or doors. We have all the tools and resources to handle your home and ensure you or your family is not at risk of lead exposure.
